A musical about people who love musicals, The Drowsy Chaperone won big with tons of laughs and the most Tony Awards of any musical on Broadway in 2006.

It all begins on a dull day in a drab apartment where a die-hard musical theatre fan plays his favorite cast album; a 1928 smash hit called "The Drowsy Chaperone." The show magically bursts to life before him and audiences are instantly immersed in the glamorous, hilarious tale of a celebrity bride and her uproarious wedding day, complete with gangsters, mistaken identities, 11th hour nuptials, and an uplifting ride to the rafters.
